Our hurlers travelled to Charleston, SC recently for the Holy City Cup.
This tournament was a great opportunity for some of the club’s newest
recruits to get game time and it was terrific that the club was able to
send so many new players to this event. Although the Raleigh team did lost
both games, to a strong Charleston outfit and to a fit Atlanta team, our
players put in really solid performances.
The mixture of experience and youth was great to see – a big thanks to
Eric Coughlin, Shane McDermott, Chris Cox, Nick Holmes, Ed Quinn, Steve
Shannon, Larre Reeves, Conor Ennis, Ciaran Harris, Kris Simino, Torgo,
Dillon Allcorn (Both Dillon and Torgo played in their first ever hurling
game for the club at the event!!) and of course team manager John McNeilly.
