The Club’s fundraising efforts culminated in a FANTASTIC fundraiser event, which was held at the TraLi bar on August 6th. The final total raised was over $9,000. Thank you to all of our supporters who contributed, greatly reducing the costs associated with this trip for our participating teams. A big shout out also to the TraLi bar and its staff for hosting our event and helping us to make it a success.
The 2022 USGAA Nationals in Chicago were held Aug 19-21. It was a great experience for Raleigh GAA to be in attendance as competitors and we are so proud of all our players and support people who made the trip. We are also very grateful to those who cheered us on from Raleigh!
Our Ladies Football team fought hard in the Junior C bracket and lost to Miltown Gaels, worthy opponents!
Our Men’s Hurling Team made it to the Junior D Final beating Tacoma Rangers on Friday morning. They progressed to beat Richmond Battery on Saturday morning before losing out to Jersey Shore in the Sunday Final. It was a very tough weekend and our men showed great spirit and commitment. Reaching the Final was a fantastic achievement and the Club was very well represented. Both of our teams did us proud!
