Covid-19 and Safety in our GAA Community

November 12, 2020

In order to begin to return to club activities, and to minimize the risk to our members, and their contacts, we are putting some protocols in place for the foreseeable future.

All members planning to attend a club event (training, meetings etc.) are required to complete the online COVID-19 course put in place by the by the GAA:

https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/

You will get a certificate at the end of this course, which should be saved and emailed to info@raleighgaa.com prior to the event. This course takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

All members attending a club event are also required to complete the Raleigh GAA health questionnaire in advance of their first training session:

For each training thereafter, each member will need to attest that there have been no changes since the last time they provided an attestation.

COVID supervisors will be present at all trainings. These volunteers will be ensuring that all protocols for safety are being followed. There will be no shared equipment once skill training starts, so personal gear will be used.

I know that words mandatory and protocol and enforce sound very strict, and they are intended to. We take the health of our players and coaching staff very seriously and will make sure that we do everything to have a safe and enjoyable return to play. It is very likely that as spring comes, and our training continues, some rules will still be in play.

Players, please download the Teamer app to your phone for logging training attendance – www.teamer.net

If you are not on our WhatsApp for general communication, please reply and we will add you.

Brier Creek field Sundays at 10:00 AM for fitness training only. No playing equipment.

We are allowed groups of 50, but we are not reserving the field. This means, we may be sharing space with others. It also means please watch future emails and Teamer notifications for trains location changes.
