Raleigh GAA hosts informative webinar featuring Kilkenny goalkeeper Eoin Murphy
On 20th February, Raleigh GAA hosted a webinar with special guest Eoin Murphy. Clubs from across the USGAA as well as some from Canada and Ireland joined in for a 90 minute meeting where Eoin discussed a range of topics from training the basics after a Covid layoff to his experiences on a senior county panel and as an All-Ireland champion to strategies for having a long, injury-free run in the GAA.
Attendee Steve Shannon commented, “It was great getting to hear the progression from learning the basics as a youth to maintaining fitness and skill as a county player. No matter what level you’re at, I think you left this webinar with some insight into how players at the highest level view the game as well as some insight on how to better approach your own game no matter what level you compete at”. Hopefully this event is the first of many webinars as we anxiously await the start of a new season.” “I think you set the bar for events like this moving forward. Great job. Hopefully both Raleigh GAA and other USGAA clubs will continue to have events such as this one”- attendee. “I enjoyed it, hope there will be more.”- attendee “Great job guys/gals .Great session and well done following up with the links” – Colm Egan, Chicago Gaelic Games DevelopmentThere were approximately 150 registered attendees for this event. The event can be viewed on our You Tube channel – https://youtu.be/FZ8TsnMQJbk
