As we approach St. Patrick’s Day, the Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee have formally announced the 2023 Grand Marshal, Ms. Sandra Holland.
Sandra was nominated by a member of the Irish ladies group in Raleigh that Sandra co-founded about three years ago. ‘Put the Kettle On’ initially started with just six ladies and has now grown to almost 100 Irish born ladies! Sandra’s nomination highlights her significant contribution to the Irish community and others here in the Raleigh area.
Raleigh GAA wants to congratulate Sandra on her appointment as 2023 Grand Marshal. Sandra is a valued member of the club who has contributed significantly over the years. She is heavily involved in supporting the growth and development of GAA here locally, but also on a regional and national level with her roles in the South East Division and USGAA. We are proud of Sandra’s achievements and look forward to marching in the parade with her as Grand Marshal on March 11th!
